My Aunt Lori On Mission to Educate Women About Minimally Invasive Hysterectomy

My aunt, Dr. Lori Warren, has launched a mission to educate women about that fact that they absolutely do not need to be "opened up" to have a hysterectomy. With 85% of all hysterectomies still done in a relatively archaic manner, this is information every woman needs to know.

Dr. Warren is my mom's sister. Her children, Dava, Evie and Aiden are some of my best friends in the world.  Evie is my age and we have grown up together.  She's a brilliant woman and obviously a top-notch physician.  I love her very much and I am very proud of her.

Aunt Lori, YOU ROCK!

Here's the video and link to the story from the report featured on CBS News with Katie Couric:

Your aunt is so right on! I have been banging this drum for years that the Ob/Gyns are 'assaulting' patients by not give them options for laparoscopic techniques. I am glad to see that it is gaining traction! Kudos!
