My Fun Day!

I had fun day, today!  First, I got some funky new tennis shoe boots at Aldo on Hollywood Blvd.  Then, I had a good acting lesson with Marnie before my audition today.  The audition went great and I got an on-the-spot callback!  Woo-hoo!

(My Aunt Melody "Simpsonized Me"!)

The audition was a long-one.  Afterward, Dad and I drove just up from where all the movie studios are and where I was auditioning to downtown Burbank.  There are all kinds of restaurants, stores and other stuff in downtown burbank.  It's sort of like an outdoor mall where everyone walks up and down the streets going to the this place and that.

We had sushi, which is one of my favs.  I always get miso soup, salad with ginger dressing, and edamame with raw salmon and raw tuna.  Dad always adds a California roll to the order because those are his favs.  For dessert, we had Cold Stone ice cream.

After sushi, we saw the movie "Becoming Jane" starring Anne Hathaway.  Loved the movie!  Anne Hathaway is a great actor!!  I think I'm going to read a Jane Austen novel soon.  Her novels may be a little over my head so I'm going to see which one of her books would be the best one to read first for a 12 year old.

My mom's coming Thursday night and I'll be glad she's back here with me.  She does so much for me!  I better enjoy suckering my Dad into not making me do anything around the apartment while I can! lol!

I miss Stevie, Warren and Christopher.  I texted with Christopher today and that was fun!  Warren's phone is on the blink so I haven't been able to text him and his MySpace is messed up as well.  Something about his password getting stolen.

Anyway, I had a nice day -- and that's a very nice thing in and of itself, isn't it?  I hope everyone reading this had a nice day, too!

XOXO,

~Gracie
