I'm So Excited...
Big news today! If you had your fingers crossed for me the past few days, then I owe you big time! My manager, Marnie Cooper, called today to let me know that my tape from my audition last Friday was chosen by the casting agents to be sent to the director. The audition was for a MAJOR motion picture. I can't tell you which movie I got the call back for yet, but, I can tell you how exciting it is to be seriously considered for a major role in a film that already has several amazing female actors signed to the project.

Getting a call back is a long way from getting the role. I'm sure there are some really great actors who will also have their audition tapes submitted to the director. Plus, you never know when an established star like Dakota Fanning will take an interest in a role along side some of the best female actors working today.
So, please continue to keep your fingers, toes, and even your eyes crossed for me if your pulling for me to get this role! The film is scheduled to start shooting pretty soon. This means that I'll probably know if I'm in the running for the role soon as well.
Also, I had 2 new auditions today. I felt like I auditioned well for both auditions. The first audition was for a supporting role in a film that would shoot in August and the other was for a commercial that would shoot at the end of this month or the beginning of next month. I was given positive feedback on both auditions and I'll probably know if I'm being considered for those roles soon, too.
As you can see, I've been completely busy auditioning and preparing for auditions since the second my plane landed at LAX last week. It's lots of work but it's also a lot of fun when you're getting to do what you love to do.
My dad and I met with my Abrams Artists agent, Jeremy, on Monday and he said he's going to keep me very busy. Everyone at Abrams is very nice to me and I like them a lot. Jeremy was the person who pulled my picture and got it noticed by Abrams and I think he's doing a terrific job for me. My manager and acting coach, Marnie, is simply the best and I feel like I connect with her.
I'm a very lucky girl and I'm really happy to be back in L.A. where I can keep working hard to achieve my dreams!
XOXO,
~Gracie
